Leading with Purpose

Leadership is one of the core areas of focus at Chaviva, as we strive to help our students develop their own leadership skills that will serve them in their present and future, regardless of where life leads them.  We aim to provide living examples of empowered leaders for our girls so they will have a model for thoughtful leadership. Most recently, Chaviva students had the opportunity to hear from community leader Detra Newton, who shared insights on what it means to lead with purpose, confidence, and humility. Drawing from her own experiences, she encouraged students to recognize their potential to make a meaningful impact in their future careers, homes, and communities. 

Mrs. Newton emphasized that effective leaders stay true to their values while remaining open to learning from others and considering different perspectives. Through her thoughtful and empowering message, students were reminded that leadership is not defined by a title, but by the choices we make each day and the positive influence we have on those around us.
