From Washington to Chaviva

Chaviva students were treated to a special surprise visit from Jake Turx, White House Correspondent for Mishpacha Magazine. Drawing from his firsthand experiences covering politics and current events, Mr. Turx gave students an engaging behind-the-scenes look at life as a reporter and the fast-paced world of journalism.

Beyond sharing stories from the field, he spoke thoughtfully about the importance of carrying values into public spaces and reflected on the role of humility, integrity, and making a Kiddush Hashem, even while navigating challenges such as antisemitism. Students were captivated by both the uniqueness of his career and the meaningful perspective he brought to his work.
