Celebrating the Class of 2026

Graduation is more than the culmination of four years of high school. It is a celebration of growth, perseverance, achievement, and the relationships that helped make it all possible. This year, Chaviva High School proudly celebrated its 6th Annual Commencement, honoring nine remarkable graduates as they completed one chapter and prepared to begin the next.

As has become a cherished Chaviva tradition, the graduates walked down the aisle surrounded by their teachers, who lined the walkway in a powerful display of support and pride.

Each graduate had the opportunity to take the stage and share reflections on her high school journey. Their speeches highlighted personal growth, meaningful experiences, treasured friendships, and the lessons they will carry with them long after graduation. Together, their words painted a picture of a class that embraced opportunities, met challenges with resilience, and emerged from Chaviva more confident and connected to their unique mission and purpose.

One of the evening’s most touching moments came as representatives from each grade, along with Chaviva alumnae, offered words of congratulations to the graduating class. Their messages reflected the strong bonds that connect students across grades and generations, reminding everyone that becoming a Chaviva alumna means remaining part of a larger community.

The graduates presented this year’s Teacher Tribute Awards to Mrs. Quin Hlavaty and Rabbi Daniel Olgin. Through heartfelt words and expressions of hakaras hatov, the seniors recognized the lasting impact these educators have had on their lives, both inside and outside the classroom.

The ceremony featured divrei bracha from Rabbi Gross, whose words inspired graduates to continue building lives of purpose, growth, and commitment to their values. The morning concluded with the beloved Bnos Aliyah ceremony, as the incoming seniors symbolically stepped into their new role as leaders of the school community. Together, students recited Tehillim and offered thanks to Hakadosh Baruch Hu for the blessings of the past year.

A celebration of this magnitude is only possible through the efforts of many dedicated individuals. We extend our sincere gratitude to our administrative team: Mrs. Amy Schwartz, Mrs. Amy Smith, Mrs. Alex Fleksher, Mr. Stephen Hopkins, Mrs. Huvie Schabes, and Ms. Shelby Jones for their hard work in planning and coordinating the event. Special thanks to our in-house photographer, Shelby, for once again capturing these memories.

We are especially grateful to Mrs. Malky Wolman for her tireless dedication to the senior class throughout the year. From milestone moments to everyday guidance, her care and commitment helped make this final year of high school a meaningful one for our graduates. We also thank Mr. Stephen Hopkins for his leadership of the College Prep program and for coordinating internship opportunities that helped students explore their interests and prepare for the future.

As these nine graduates turn the page to their next chapter, they carry with them far more than diplomas. They leave Chaviva with deep friendships, meaningful memories, a strong foundation of Torah values, and the confidence to navigate whatever lies ahead.
