A House of Torah

Thank you to all the mothers who joined us for Sunday’s Pre-Shavuos Learning! We were thrilled to have such a full house for this meaningful morning of learning and connection. After beautiful Rosh Chodesh davening, we enjoyed a delicious brunch celebrating all of the growth and learning the girls achieved through Sunday learning throughout the year. Mothers and daughters then learned together through Megillas Rus, exploring the theme of mothers and daughters in the Torah. Together, they uncovered deeper meaning within the text and drew connections to another powerful mother-daughter pair, Yocheved and Miriam. The morning left everyone with a renewed appreciation that building a Jewish home is rooted in the strength and beauty of Hashem’s Torah.

The morning also celebrated the culmination of Chaviva’s unique Sunday learning program. We are so proud of our students’ commitment to coming each week and making every day count! A special thank you to Yocheved Halpern for sponsoring the program in memory of her father, Reuven Gershon ben Dov Ber.
