A Day of Reflection and Renewal
Chaviva’s Yom Kippur Yom Iyun gave our students a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and look toward the year ahead. Planned by our Nishmas Heads, the morning began with a delicious bagel brunch before the girls gathered for inspiring Divrei Torah from Rabbi Burnstein.
The girls then headed outside to reflect on the past year, writing down regrets and moments they hoped to leave behind. Their reflections were shredded and transformed into an artistic representation of who they hope to become in the year ahead.
The students also explored the Viduy tefilos in a new way, turning words of repentance into personal goals for the coming year. Rather than simply looking back at what they wished they had done differently, they were challenged to consider how they could use those reflections to move forward.
The morning concluded in true Chaviva fashion with an uplifting kumzitz and a special Birchas HaBanos from Mrs. Berkowitz, sending our girls into Yom Kippur with inspiration, connection, and renewed purpose.
